We count on you to help us identify and report all types of leaks or other problems on the City water system. We also rely on your co-operation, patience and understanding when it comes to repairing a water disruption as quickly as possible. Please call 805-736-1617 during working hours 7am to 3:30pm, a Water Distribution Operator will be dispatched as soon as possible.

After hours 5pm please call the Lompoc Police Department at 805-875-8115. When calling either of these numbers you will be asked;

• Your Name, telephone number
• Address or location of the leak
• Is the water gushing or is it a slow leak?
• Has this leak been reported before?
• How long has this leak been present?

Gushing water leaks require immediate attention and Distribution will respond right away.

Slow leaks on our line, will be repaired as soon as possible.

Depending on the type of leak and nature of the repair it is possible that no work can begin, except for emergencies, until all utilities have located their service lines in the affected area. All utilities require a minimum 48 hours.

Did you know?

If your faucet has a small, continuous leak, it will waste large amounts of water, in addition, leaks in hot-water lines will waste heat. Keep all valves and faucets tight. When a leak develops, replace faucet washers. If valves or faucets are damaged, replace faucet of valve assembly.
