The City of Lompoc has established 11 standing advisory Boards, Commissions, and Committees to advise the City Council and provide a greater public input into the City government of Lompoc.
Vacancies on these groups occur either through scheduled vacancies (those created by the expiration of a term) or through unscheduled vacancies as a result of resignations during the year.
Applications may be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office throughout the year and will be kept on file for one year from the date of receipt. When vacancies occur a deadline date for submittal of applications will be posted.
Eligibility:
- All applicants must be City residents except Library Commissioners who may live within Santa Barbara County Library Zone 2 (Lompoc and Vandenberg Village area).
- Youth members (between 15 and 21) of the Youth Commission are eligible if they live within the Lompoc Unified School District’s boundaries, however, the majority must be city residents.
- Application Form & Attachments - The application may be completed online, printed, signed, and faxed or mailed to the City Clerk’s Office.
