Purpose:
To provide financial support for the programs and purposes of the City of Lompoc in order to benefit the Lompoc community.
On July 6, 2021, the City Council voted to form a nonprofit corporation for the purpose of applying for grants and raising other funds to support City projects and programs. The corporation is called the Lompoc Community Benefit Foundation. The Foundation will be governed by a seven-member board of directors, which will composed of the following individuals:
- A Council Member – Council Member Cordova has been appointed to this role.
- Two representatives from Lompoc businesses.
- The chair of the Lompoc Public Safety Commission.
- The chair of the Lompoc Beautification and Appearance Commission.
- The chair of the Lompoc Library Commission.
- The chair of the Lompoc Parks and Recreation Commission.
