Large groups of more than 75 are encouraged to reserve city park group picnic areas and barbecue pits.

Group picnic facilities are available at Ryon Park, Beattie Park, River Park, and Ken Adam Park. These group areas can accommodate large groups up to 150 persons. Please complete facility reservation forms at the Anderson Recreation Center, 125 West Walnut Avenue, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Smaller individual tables and braziers are available on a first-come basis in all parks.

Campground Information

Camping is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no tent camping available until further notice, and no reservations currently. If you have questions about camping at City of Lompoc campgrounds, please call: 805-875-8100.

River Park R.V. Campground (Highway 246 and Sweeney Road, 1/2 mile east of Highway 1)

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the River Park R. V. Campground area. Please note that the tent campground is currently unavailable due to remodeling. Lompoc lies in the heart of the beautiful Central California Coast. Using Lompoc as your “home camping base” offers you the ever changing Pacific Ocean, the fertile and lush vineyards, the mountain vistas, and easy access to Highways 1 and 101. RIVER PARK lies adjacent to the Santa Ynez River and is owned and operated by the city of Lompoc. It is 60 developed acres and 190 acres of open space. The R.V. campground section of the park features full-hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, hot showers, restrooms, a dump station, and a resident Campground Host. The day use section of the park has play equipment, an exercise path, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and a small lake which has been stocked with fish.
