NEW! There is NO convenience fee to pay utility bills online!

Payments for city business other than utility bills (i.e. miscellaneous invoice, building permit etc.) will incur a 3.75% credit card processing fee per transaction.  The City receives no portion of this merchant processing fee.

Access to Payment Plans, including making payments, is NOT available through the CSS Portal.  If you wish to obtain information or make a payment to your plan, please contact the Treasury Department at (805) 875-8286.

How to Pay Your Utility Bill

  • Online - The City has transitioned to a new utility billing system. Online customers are required to create a new account. Please note that online payments can take up to 72 hours (or more for holidays and weekends) to reflect as paid in your online account. If you need to know if a payment has been applied to your utility account please contact the Treasury Department at 805-875-8286.
  • In Person 
  • By Mail - Mail to 100 Civic Center Plaza, Lompoc, CA  93436
  • Drop Box - Payment drop box is located in the median in front of the Police Department. Payments made in the Drop Box may take up to two business days to process.
  • Bank Draft - Sign up to have payments automatically deducted from a bank account. Please note that if you are canceling the automatic bank draft it must be done at least 48 hours prior to the next billing date. 
  • E-Bill - Sign up to receive your utility bills via email. Once you receive your first bill in the mail, you are eligible to sign up.
