Application for Electric Rate Assistance

The City of Lompoc offers a monthly Electric Rate Assistance credit of up to $18.00 for its low-income utility customers. Applicants must provide a copy of their current government-issued ID and current proof of income for all household members 18 years of age and older. Completed applications are active for two years and must be resubmitted biennially with current proof of income documents. 

Mobile Home Residents

Mobile home residents in the City of Lompoc are encouraged to apply for Electric Rate Assistance. To apply, please complete the boxes below and attach your most recent mobile home rent statement along with the other requested documentation. The name on your statement and the name on the application must match.

Does my household qualify for the credit?

Eligible households are households with a total income of 80% or less of the area median income by household size as determined by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. 

The current income limits which determine eligibility for Electric Rate Assistance are listed below:

Utility Payment Drop Box:
The Utility Payment Drop Box is located in the median street divider in front of the Lompoc Police Station. Paper applications may be placed in the yellow utility payment drop box.
