Welcome to the Lompoc Police Department Web page. I am honored to be the City of Lompoc’s Police Chief. The Lompoc Police Department is a professional organization with a tradition of service and excellence. As stated on the patrol cars and in our Mission statement, “A tradition of service” is not just a slogan; it is a way of life for the men and women of the Lompoc Police Department.

Law enforcement is a very complex and difficult occupation and it takes patience, integrity, compassion and pride to serve the community. We strive every day to give this type of service and truly care about the citizens and the community we serve.

That said, trust is a two-way street and we cannot do our job without the community working together with us to solve crime, make neighborhoods safe and teach our children the dangers of drugs and gangs. I encourage my officers, dispatchers, Community Service Officers, jailers, professional staff to reach out to the community and build relationships in the good times that will help get us through the bad times.

I extend that challenge to the community, reach out the officers and introduce yourself. Feel free to not only express your concerns for the community, but your gratitude and appreciation. These relationships are what make Lompoc stronger and safer, working together and knowing each other breaks down imaginary barriers and builds community.

Lompoc is a wonderful town to live, work and play. It is that way because of the great people that live here. The Lompoc Police Department understands that and strives to keep Lompoc a safe and vibrant city.
