The City of Lompoc is pleased to invite the community to join us for a special weekend-long city birthday celebration, Aug. 11, 12 and 13. 

The festivities kick off with a City of Lompoc 135th Birthday Celebration held as part of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau’s Old Town Market, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11. This event includes the Lompoc Police Foundation Old Town Cruise. Attendees are encouraged to come check out various city booths and vehicles, as well as to walk away with some fantastic birthday swag.

The city asks the community to again join us on Saturday, Aug. 12 for the 19th Annual Lompoc Police Car Show running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Old Town, and for a continuation of Old Town Market from noon to 3 p.m.

Finally, a recognition event in honor of the City of Lompoc’s 135th birthday and the electric division’s 100th birthday is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13 (the city’s actual birthday) at Centennial Square Park. Refreshments will follow.
