City of Lompoc divisions will be out with resources, information and interactive experiences this Friday, July 26, for Old Town Market Celebrate Lompoc and Wine Tasting Night.
Old Town Market is a street fair hosted on Friday nights July 5 through Aug. 16 by the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. The event that is sponsored in part by the Chumash Casino Resort runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each week, and is held in the 100 block of South H Street, Downtown Lompoc.
City vehicles will be on display this Friday night for the community’s enjoyment and education, as well as the city’s own community television provider, TAP TV, and the Charlotte’s Web Bookmobile. In addition, booths will be staffed by city employees sharing information on city developments, programs and services, and offering fun activities. Of special note, city employees will be seeking community input for a pedestrian and bicycle master plan, and regarding Proposition 68 parks funding. Information will be available regarding the potential for a public safety power shutoff event. The Lompoc City Council and city administration will also be represented.
Live music for Celebrate Lompoc night will be provided by The Kaitlyn Chui Band.
